I need to be honest from the outset: the Gettys call this a "hymns and lullabies" album. And yes, the first song is even called "Hush-a-by".

BUT! I don't think this is just an album for babies. Besides the first song, all other songs are applicable to all ages. And, in my opinion, the songs are beautiful and calming. The music is soft and peaceful, and the lyrics remind us of the love and care of God and encourage us to trust him. We could all use more of that after the past couple years.

So no, this is not an album to throw on if you're looking for something to blast in your car. But yes, it is a great album if you're looking for a time of quiet and comfort.
