Kids Worship That Adults Will (mostly) Like Too

Music is an effective way to get things stuck in our brains! We all know that a catchy tune can get stuck in our head, which can be bad if the lyrics are negative but good if the lyrics are positive.

For that reason I've made a playlist of kids worship songs that I like to play around my kids. Sometimes I play it when we're getting ready for the day in the morning, or sometimes when we're in the car. I almost always play it when we're on our way to church as a way of "priming the pump".

There's a fair bit of kids worship music out there that is annoying, cheesy, or poorly made, but some of it I quite enjoy! It can often be catchy and some have surprisingly meaningful lyrics. I think I enjoy some of the songs more than my kids do.

I'd recommend this playlist for kids ages 8 and younger. Some of the songs are slow and others are more upbeat. To be totally honest, I don't think my kids would ever specifically ask to listen to this playlist, but it's something I just make them listen to in the background and I think they mostly enjoy it and it's good for them to hear.
